ABOUT MEDCONNECT
MedConnect is a student conference connecting tomorrow’s healthcare professionals with today’s. In a one-day conference, attendees will learn from physicians and other health professionals, engage in workshops to immerse themselves in the medical world and receive invaluable insight from current medical students. This event aims to educate and inspire students curious about a career in medicine, providing a strong foundation for future studies and ventures.
MedConnect is targeted at university or college students and motivated high school students in grades 11 and 12, targeted towards those curious about a career in medicine. Originally held exclusively for university undergraduate students since 2013, MedConnect is opened to a broader audience in 2016 to provide a unique educational experience to the future generation of health professionals, selling out to astonishing reviews. In 2019, we had another successful conference, again selling out all of our tickets to excited aspiring physicians.  Join us again this year for MedConnect Conference 2023!
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Engaging lectures from physicians and professionals from different medical fields
- A descriptive presentation on the pathway to medicine where attendees will learn tips and tricks to be successful on the road to medical school, as well as the requirements for becoming a physician

HOW IS MEDCONNECT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER HEALTH-RELATED CONFERENCES?
MedConnect is organized by a team of university students with international level connections and direct experience in both the health fields and in the medical school application process. Therefore, from the very foundation, our event provides you with greater insight into the medical world and can offer more for those specifically curious about a career as a physician. Furthermore, our speakers have prepared presentations focused on the medical world exclusively, with young aspiring physicians in mind. Workshops will also be providing you with real applicable skills and knowledge from experienced health professionals. It is guaranteed you will leave with a newfound appreciation for the world of medicine with the inspiration to pursue any lifelong endeavour.
WHAT IS PHI DELTA EPSILON INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL FRATERNITY?
Phi Delta Epsilon is a professional medical fraternity that is comprised over 35,000 aspiring physicians and doctors from around the world. We strive to create well-rounded physicians of integrity through fundraising and volunteer efforts, social activities, and by promoting academic and professional excellence. Our chapter is comprised of a diverse group of students, where over 86% of our applicants succeed in entering medical school.

Absolutely! MedConnect is open to anyone unsure of becoming a physician, or for those who are interested in pursuing other health-related careers. MedConnect, in the past, has had the most impact on those standing at a crossroads. We will also be providing connections to scientific researchers and other health care professionals who will be attending our event.
