MedConnect is a non-profit event targeted at current university or college students and motivated high school students in grade 11 & 12. The cost of attending the event is $25 for all attendees, to be paid online prior to the event during registration via Eventbrite. Click on the registration link above to use SFU student and PhiDE member discounts.
Tickets cannot be transferred or resold. Full refunds are available until November 12, 2022. Workshops, challenges, and lecture schedules will not be changed or transferred once registration is complete.
We have limited registration to 250 students to ensure the best experience for each event attendee.
(In 2016, the first 120 tickets early bird tickets were sold out in 2 days, with the remaining 60 tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes when released. Please plan accordingly to reserve seats for you and your friends. Once again in 2017, we sold out all 180 seats in one week.)
You can email the event team at TeamMedConnect@gmail.com to request a full refund if you cancel at least 7 days in advance of the event.
Further, we believe the valuable information shared at MedConnect should be open to everyone regardless of financial status or hardship. If you believe you cannot pay the event registration fee, you can email us and it is possible an alternative solution can be arranged.
