MedConnect is a non-profit event targeted at current university or college students and motivated high school students in grade 11 & 12. Attendees will select workshops and lectures on a first come first serve basis. The cost of attending the event is $25 for all attendees, to be paid online prior to the event during registration. Attendees are requested to bring their own food or purchase from local vendors. (Note: Offline, in-person payment is not offered. Those who arrive on the day of the conference without prior registration will likely be turned away.)

Price: $10 + minimum donation to Children’s Miracle Network of $15 = $25

In our one-day conference, attendees will learn from physicians and other health professionals, engage in workshops to immerse themselves in the medical world and receive invaluable insight from current medical students. This event aims to educate and inspire students curious about a career in medicine, providing a strong foundation for future studies and ventures.

Our tickets are $10 plus a minimum donation to the BC Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network. We greatly appreciate any additional donations generously given.

Before completing your registration, please read the following:

  • You will have the opportunity to pick ONE workshop, challenge or lecture for each block of the conference. There are 5 blocks throughout the day.
  • Please only select one activity for each block. If you select multiple activities for the same block, you may have some of those activities cancelled from your registration without notice.
  • Please choose carefully, as your block choices cannot be changed or transferred after you have registered.
  • All activities have a seat limit. When they reach capacity, they will no longer be available on the registration list. To ensure you get the schedule you want, please register early.

Refund Policy

Tickets cannot be transferred or resold. Full refunds are available until November 16, 2019. Workshops, challenges, and lecture schedules cannot be changed or transferred once registration is complete.

We have limited registration to 250 students to ensure the best experience for each event attendee.

(In 2016, the first 120 tickets early bird tickets were sold out in 2 days, with the remaining 60 tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes when released. Please plan accordingly to reserve seats for you and your friends. Once again in 2017, we sold out all 180 seats in one week.)

You can email the event team at TeamMedConnect@gmail.com to request a full refund if you cancel at least 7 days in advance of the event.

Further, we believe the valuable information shared at MedConnect should be open to everyone regardless of financial status or hardship. If you believe you cannot pay the event registration fee, you can email us and it is possible an alternative solution can be arranged.

Note: By attending this event, you consent to be photographed. These photos may be used for promotional purposes for future MedConnect Conferences.
