 REGISTRATION

MedConnect is a non-profit event open to current university or college students and motivated high school students in grade 11 & 12. Attendees will be divided up into appropriate age groups for specially catered workshops at the event venue. The cost of attending the event was $20 for SFU students, or $25 for all other attendees, to be paid online prior to the event during registration. Attendees are requested to bring their own food or purchase from local vendors. (Note: Offline, in-person payment is not offered. Those who arrive on the day of the conference without prior registration will likely be turned away.)

You can move to the event registration page by clicking here or on the big purple button seen to the right, in the sidebar. Once on that page, you can review the event information and click the green ‘Tickets’ button to begin the checkout process.

On the following page, you have several essential forms to fill out, as seen in the image below. You can pay online using credit card, being redirected a secure PayPal site to finish the payment process.

Include your Full Name and Email as prompted. It is essential you input YOUR email, as the event attendee. This will also automatically add you to our mailing list.

We have limited registration to 180 students to ensure the best experience for each event attendee. Ticket sales open for SFU students on October 9th, 2018 and our general student audience on October 19th, 2018. Our 2018 tickets have sold out! Please add your name to our wait list in case of cancellations.

(In 2016, the first 120 tickets early bird tickets were sold out in 2 days, with the remaining 60 tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes when released. Please plan accordingly to reserve seats for you and your friends. Once again in 2017, we sold out all 180 seats in one week.)

You can email the event team at TeamMedConnect@gmail.com to request a full refund if you cancel at least 7 days in advance of the event.

Further, we believe the pathway to medicine should be open to everyone regardless of financial status or hardship. If you believe you cannot pay the event registration fee, you can email us and it is possible an alternative solution can be arranged.
